Japanese "Hiei"
 - Kongo Class Battlecruiser -

Unlike the other Kongo's the Hiei wasn't refitted during the 1920s. From 1924 to 1928 she was converted to a training ship; 1933-1934 she received a modernization and reconstruction to become a battlecruiser again 
1942-11-13: sunk by torpedoes and gunfire at Guadalcanal
